N20 / N26 True Coil Pack Upgrade Kit

We have developed a plug and play Coil Pack Upgrade for the BMW N20 & N26 Engines
These kits utilise the Famous Eldor B38/B48/B58/B46/N63T3 Coil Packs and retain an OEM like look!

These coils are capable of up to 70% increase in Spark energy over the OEM N20 Coils, with their OEM Dwell Settings this means you can run more boost, and OEM spark plug gap at higher power levels without running into spark breakdown!

Its a known fact the OEM N20 / N26 Coils run out of spark energy very quickly on standard stage 2 93 OCT tunes requiring gapping of the plugs, especially on E85. 
Sadly that does not work once you start getting into the 28+PSI range where you need to make the move to an aftermarket coil pack

Allowing for longer service life of your spark plugs, and better idling characteristics over a gapped plug. 

We recommend either the NGK 97506 or Brisk 2MOER10S plugs at their OEM or "Off The Shelf" gap

Whilst you can run these coils at OEM N20 Dwell settings we do not recommend it, that is because under 10volts the OEM N20 Dwell settings are significantly different to the B38/B48/B58/B46/N63T3 Coil Packs and its possible you could damage the coil, plug or DME. Above 10 Volts, the N20 OEM Dwell settings are slightly lower than that of the B38/B48/B58/B46/N63T3 Coil Packs as such without the correct calibration data in the Tune you would not be able to take full advantage of these coils!

Custom Tuning will not only allow you to run the OEM B38/B48/B58/B46/N63T3 Coil Pack dwell settings but also give you the offering of a more modified dwell setting from your Tuner for those in extreme power output operations where you could look to raise the coil output by a further 15%

Attention: BM3 to-date does not have a config menu option for these coils or competing coil brands - despite the push to make this happen over the years its unlikely it will ever end up being added in thus requiring a custom tune for these coils to run optimally

Tight Fitment when using LT1/LT4 (Spool, XDI, Dorch) HPFP's - Unfortuntately there is no way to create better fitment for these pumps and the coils, you will have to squeeze the coils in around the HPFP on Cylinder 2
